Everyone loves a good farmers market and we’re excited to bring you a brand new one with a strong focus on farmers, growers, producers and bakers at Historic Hannastown!

Please read through all the information below before applying.

This market is owned and produced by the Downtown Greensburg Project a local small business that produces other events like the Greensburg Night Market, High Street Society Book Fair, Greensburg Craft Beer Week and more.

Since 2019 the Greensburg Night Market and our other events have been and will continue to be a handmade only market.

For this market, there will be a strong focus on farmers, growers and producers.

For the Hannastown Farmers Market we accept a variety of vendor types including but not limited to:

  • Activity Based (face painting, henna, etc)
  • Alcohol Producer
  • Apparel
  • Artist (painters, photographers)
  • Bakers
  • Beauty (soap, nail polish, oils)
  • Candles
  • Crafter (wreaths etc)
  • Farmers (fruits, veggies, herbs, plants, flowers)
  • Fiber + Crochet
  • Glass Works
  • Jewelry
  • Metal Works
  • Paper Art (illustrations, stickers)
  • Permanent Jewelry
  • Pet Products
  • Pottery + Ceramics
  • Prepared Food (jared, canned and packaged items)
  • Producers (eggs, meat)
  • Ready to Eat (food trucks/trailers and food tents)
  • Wood Worker

All vendors for the Hannastown Farmers Market must make/bake/create/produce/grow 80% or more of the products they will be selling.

We do not accept MLMs, direct sales vendors, businesses that white labels their products, franchises, gets manufactured goods, bought and resold items, nor do we accept items that were designed by you but made in a lab or by a third-party. 80% of the products being sold must be made by you. 

Vendor Types and/or Businesses Not Accepted

  • Franchises (or businesses that have or offer to be an independent sales rep)
  • Businesses who have brick and mortar locations outside of PA (fully out of state businesses excluded)
  • MLM, Direct Sales
  • Business that white label their products
  • Businesses who use AI to create/design/supplement their products
  • Insurance, windows, financial services or similar businesses etc.
  • Business that sells items that have/sell or depict weaponry/guns, violence or political affiliation.
  • Political or religious businesses or organizations

We do not accept political or religious organizations, businesses or vendors to be set up (information tents/selling items) or sponsors.

We accept a wide variety of food truck/tent vendors every season. We are looking for high quality, unique, diverse food vendors only. 

Not Accepted:

  • Food vendors with oversized or large trailers/trucks
  • Franchise businesses
  • Food vendors who are making whole sale, frozen food, or premade food for resale

Again, we are looking for homemade, unique and diverse options for this market. If you are a vendor who can ‘make anything’ we are not the market for you.

All food vendors are required to have and submit the following after acceptance:

  • Servesafe Certificate
  • Health Permit
  • Insurance
  • Drivers License (if a truck or trailer)

The PA Department of Agriculture visits local markets multiple times during the season to check vendors. the PA Department of Agriculture may require other items from you. Please check with them to make sure you have everything you need.

All vendors are required to have general liability insurance and must send in a Certificate of Insurance naming the Downtown Greensburg Project and the as additionally insured.

As a vendor selling items, you should have the proper permitting, certificates and liability insurance.

All vendors selling any prepared foods or baked items must have the proper license to sell said items.

All ready to eat food vendors (anyone selling food to eat at market like food trucks/trailers/tents) are required to submit their health license, ServeSafe, business liability insurance and drivers license before the start of the season. 

All alcohol producing vendors will be required to send in a COI for the Downtown Greensburg Project with liquor liability included.

The Hannastown Farmers Market does not have power access for vendors. Any vendors needing power will need to provide their own with a generator.

All generators must be quiet generators, any vendors with generators that we deem to loud and cause disruption for other vendors and/or the market will be asked to not use them again.

Yes!

For the Hannastown Farmers Market you will be able to leave your vehicle with you. Only 1 vehicle is permitted at each space.

If you have a large vehicle or box truck, please let us know so we can place you properly. 

The Hannastown Famers Market will be a rain or shine market unless there is extreme weather or the field is to wet to use.

If a market is canceled we will notify all vendors by email as soon as possible. 

*There are no vendor fee refunds for weather or act of god cancellations.*

We aim to make set up and tear down as easy as possible.

All spaces will be marked with a number and lines. 

Set Up Timeframe: 7am-9am – must be ready to go by 9am

All vendors will be able to pull into their spots to set up and leave their cars at their space. Only 1 car can be left in your space.

Tear Down:

Vendors are not permitted to tear down any tables or tents until 1pm. Please wait until staff signals it is okay to start pulling out.

 

If you are unable to abide by these set up and tear down guidelines in anyway, we are not the market for you.

If you do not follow the set up or tear down rules you may be asked to not return without a refund.

It is important to follow all set up and tear down rules for safety and ease of set up and tear down.

DGP has the right to adjust or change the set up and tear down rules at any time.

All accepted vendors will be sent an invoice via Square for all of their accepted dates. the invoice must be paid by the due date, May 20 or risk your dates being revoked.

Regular 10×10 Space: $50 per market

Double 10×20 Space : $100 per market

Food Truck or Trailer Space: $100 per market

Trailer Space Non Food: $100 per market
