Any vendors not booked in a date will be placed on our waitlist. Vendors will be notified between March 1 and March 15, after applications close.

Applying and selecting that you are interested in any or all market dates does not guarantee that you will get any or all dates that you apply for.

What kind of vendors do you accept?

Since 2019 the Greensburg Night Market has been and will continue to be a handmade only market.

For the Greensburg Night Market, Holiday and Winter Markets we accept a variety of vendor types including but not limited to:

  • Activity Based (face painting, permanent jewelry)
  • Alcohol Producer
  • Apparel
  • Artist (painters, photographers)
  • Bakers
  • Beauty (soap, nail polish, oils)
  • Candles
  • Crafter
  • Farmers (fruits, veggies, herbs, plants, flowers)
  • Jewelry
  • Paper Art (illustrations, stickers)
  • Pet Products
  • Prepared Food (jared, canned and packaged items)
  • Producers (eggs, meat)
  • Ready to Eat (food trucks/trailers and food tents)
  • Wooden Crafter

All vendors for the Greensburg Night Market must make/bake/create/produce/grow 75% or more of the products they will be selling.

For the Greensburg Vintage Market we accept vendors who sell Vintage Goods, Decor, Apparel, Collectables, Antiques, Vintage Wares and Books/Records.

Please be aware, we do get a lot of applications of certain vendor types. Due to spacing and other factors we are unable to accept every vendor in every vendor type.

Vendor Types Not Approved

While the Greensburg Night Market accepts a wide range of vendors each season there are a few that we unfortunately do not permit. We do not accept MLMs, direct sales vendors, businesses that white labels their products, franchises, gets manufactured goods, bought and resold items, nor do we accept items that were designed by you but made in a lab or by a third-party. 75% of the products being sold must be made by you. If you are not sure if you qualify, please email us before applying.

We also do not accept businesses that do not sell items, including but not limited to: insurance, windows, financial services, photography (not selling prints), realtors.

We also do not accept any business that sells items that depict weaponry, violence or political affiliation.

If you are not sure if your business would qualify, please email us before applying. Interested businesses in those areas can look into our sponsorship opportunities.

We do not accept political or religious organizations, businesses or vendors to be set up (information tents/selling items) or sponsors.

Food Truck/Tent Vendors Accepted and Not Accepted

We accept a wide variety of food truck/tent vendors every season. We are looking for high quality, unique, diverse food vendors only.

Not Accepted:

  • Food vendors with oversized or large trailers/trucks (23ft max including generator rack)
  • Franchise businesses
  • Food vendors who are making whole sale, frozen food, or premade food for resale

Again, we are looking for homemade, unique and diverse options for this market. If you are a vendor who can ‘make anything’ we are not the market for you.

All food vendors are required to have and submit the following:

  • Servesafe Certificate
  • Health Permit
  • Insurance
  • Drivers License (if a truck or trailer)

The PA Department of Agriculture visits the Greensburg Night Market multiple times during the season to check vendors.

I am a food truck or trailer. Can I apply?

Yes! All food vendors will go through the same juried selection process as all other vendors. The acceptance of a food truck or trailer will depend on spacing. If you are able to be a food tent instead of a truck or trailer please let us know that in your application.

We do have limitations on truck and trailer size. We do not accept any trucks or trailers over 23 ft. All trailers must also unhook when set up.

I am a franchise, can I apply?

The Greensburg Night Market is a handmade market only. We prioritize vendors who make, bake, create, come up with, produce and grow their products.

If you are a franchise business and you do apply, there is no guarantee you will be accepted.

What is the criteria and qualifications for applicants?

We review the all applications and handpick the artists, makers, bakers and creators that are the best fit for the Greensburg Night Market. We thoughtfully and carefully choose applicants based on a number of criteria, listed below.  You can also check out our Instagram page to see what vendors we have chosen in the past.

    • Your work is designed and made by hand. Please provide information in your application if your products aren’t entirely made by you or by hand.
    • Your work overall is cohesive and consistent, and you provide clear examples for us to view.
    • Your work is unique. If you are a returning vendor, we want to see how your work has progressed since last participating. We always want to offer our customers fresh ideas and items.
    • The average price of your items typically ranges between $1-100 and reflect a good value/price ratio.  Typically, you know what your work is worth!
    • If you are a pre-packaged food vendor, you offer unique packaging and flavors and have a well-designed booth. We expect artisanal food vendors to live up to the same level of integrity and quality with their products and displays as our other handmade participants.
    • If you are a ready to eat or food truck, your food products are homemade and not bought to resell. You are locally created and owned and not a franchise of a larger corporation.
    • Any vintage vendors will be juried on quality of products, creativity and selection of products, a well designed booth set up and uniqueness of your business. (these vendor types qualify for the Greensburg Vintage Market only)
    • Your website and/or social media pages provide clean and clear photos that are cohesive with the quality of the Greensburg Night Market and can be easily shared for media purposes.
    • Social media is a large component of the GNM juried selection process, vendors who do not have any or have very little social media may be placed on the waitlist.
    • You demonstrate that you are good at following directions and reading provided information.

We receive a lot of applications with the same type of products. While we would love to accept everyone, we strive to have a variety of vendors and product types at each market and only have a select number of each vendor type at every market.

How does the selection process work?

All applications are sorted by genre and individually scored according to the criteria outlined in the above answers. The top scorers are compared within their genre and selected to join the markets.

Vendors may be asked to submit photo or video clarification of their products.

A number of vendors in each category are offered a spot on our waitlist as cancellations often happen for personal reasons.

I don't make my own products, can I apply?

No. The Greensburg Night Market is a make, bake, create, product market only. Any vendor who applied that does not meet that criteria will not be considered.

The Greensburg Vintage Market is for Vintage Goods, Vintage Apparel, Collectables, Antiques, Unique Vintage Wares, Books/Records and Vintage Decor.

I’m a local business and want to be a vendor, can I?

Depending on your business you may qualify to be a vendor. We do not accept vendors who do not sell products. Example: Insurance Agents, Realty etc. We do have sponsorship opportunities that may come with a space throughout the season, see sponsorships here.

Which application should I submit?

Due to the variety of events we host there are a few applications to choose from. Please make sure to choose the correct application when applying.

  • You make, bake, create, grow and/or produce the products you will be selling. Please apply using the Greensburg Night Market Application. You qualify for all markets.
  • You sell vintage products or upcycle products. You do not qualify for the Greensburg Night Market or Holiday/Winter Markets. Please apply for using the Greensburg Vintage Market Application.
  • You only want indoor markets and you make, bake, create, grow and/or produce the products you will be selling. Please applying using the Greensburg Holiday Market Application.

Submitting the incorrect application could result in your application being fully denied for all markets. Please make sure to choose the correct application when applying.

If I apply on the last day that applications are open, do I still have a chance?

The time at which you apply to be a vendor does not matter. Our juried selection process starts after applications close. You could apply the first day applications are open or the last day and your chances of acceptance are the same.

I was a vendor in the past, am I guaranteed a space for future markets?

No. What makes the Greensburg Night Market and our other markets such unique experiences is our desire to bring our customers the newest and most current trends in handmade every year. We also want to showcase the best that the our area and community has to offer.

To do this we need a vast variety of vendors at each market, along with new merchandise. This is why we hold a rigorous application process. We LOVE having return vendors, but they must undergo the same jury process as everyone else. We check to see what new products they are offering and also discuss what kind of maker they were in the past.

Did they help share market info online? Were they easy to work with? Did they follow all of our rules and deadlines? Did they follow the set up and tear down guidelines? Did the treat other vendors, staff and volunteers with respect?

I was accepted as a vendor. What should I expect?
  • You will receive an acceptance email. YOU MUST respond back to agree to the dates you were approved for or adjust the dates if needed.
  • You will be sent a Vendor Agreement via Square, this is REQUIRED to be signed by March 22. Failure to sign means your space will be revoked.
  • Pay your season invoice! All invoices will be sent via Square after you agree to your dates. Vendor fees are due by April 10. Failure to pay your vendor fees will result in your space being revoked.
OTHER ITEMS AFTER ACCEPTANCE
  • Watch your inbox! We try not to overload vendors on emails. When we do email you it is usually full of lots of important information. Please take the time to read these emails and file them to refer to later. It is very time consuming for us to respond to questions already addressed. (Please make sure to check your spam.)
  • Carefully read and make a plan to put our safety policies and procedures in place.
  • All vendors who require a health license, ServeSafe and other licenses are required to submit them before the season begins via the License Form emailed.
  • Look into business insurance, we ask that all vendors for their own safety of their business, products and the vendors around them have insurance. It is a requirement to have it. We do have options, if you need help, we can assist.
  • Prepare your booth space. We like to showcase vendors with outstanding booth displays. Don’t get lost in the crowd by not preparing the look of your display early. Presentation is just as important as your products. We highly suggest making a tape outline of your booth dimensions on the floor and doing a mock up of your space. Remember YOU have to fit in the space too!  No extra room outside of your booth is available for your display. All vendors must bring their own tent, tent weights, table and chairs. (tent weights are required for any outdoor market)
  • Be prepared to unload and set up quickly. If you do not have the ability or time to set up in our timeframe our markets may not be for you.
  • Before each market, vendors are sent a set up email. This email is the key to having a successful and smooth set up and tear down process for each market. Failure to abide by the instructions could result in a vendor not being asked to return, without a refund.
I was accepted but didn't get all the dates I applied for.

In our application we do ask vendors to select which market dates they would be interested in. We are unable to always give every vendor every date that they ask for. Selecting dates does not guarantee that any vendor will be accepted for any or all dates.

No Vendor Exclusivity

We do not permit Vendor Exclusivity in any vendor type. There may be a similar vendor at a market as you. When book specific space locations we book based on vendor type so a similar vendor won’t be near your or will not be on your block.

I got put on the waitlist. Should I apply next year?

Yes! As stated in the previous answer, we are always looking for new vendors. We have to turn down so many fantastic vendors simply due to space constraints at each market and our goal to have a variety of vendors at each market and not have a large number of the same vendor type. We are always looking for ways to expand, grow our markets and increase the number of events we host. Keep growing your skills and keep applying! We’d love to have you at one of our markets!

My business doesn't have any social media pages or a website. Now what?

Social media and having an online presence is a part of our juried vendor selection process. As much as we love to accommodate all vendors, we highly depend on digital exposure for the all-around success of our markets. We do not require an expensive website or thousands of posts or followers from our vendors, but we do require some sort of internet presence. This makes promoting, collecting promotion material, and communication much easier on our end.

We do require that all vendors setting up at a market promote that they will be there.

If you do not have an active online page, you may be asked how you plan to promote that you will be at the market, or the Greensburg Night Market and our other events may not be the right fit for you.

Product Packaging Restrictions

All product packaging must abide by state and local laws and guidelines for your specific product type.

Product packaging CANNOT have drug, alcohol (exception for alcohol vendors), weapon or gun photos, icons, markings etc on them. Any vendor with that type of packaging will not be accepted.

GNM Marketing and Vendor Marketing

The Greensburg Night Market is strongly marketed through social media. We also have billboards and other modes of advertisement throughout the season.

All vendors will have a vendor profile on our website that has links to any vendor social media or website. All vendor profiles will be listed for the dates a vendor is accepted and scheduled for.

All vendors will be listed for any/all dates they are accepted and scheduled for on social media and website.

We do require all vendors who are accepted for dates to promote that they will be at the market.

If you are unable or unwilling to promote that you are a part of one of our markets, the Greensburg Night Market and our other events may not be the right fit for you.

Power Access and Generator Use

Unfortunately, the Greensburg Night Market does not have power access for vendors. Any vendors needing power will need to provide their own with a generator.

All generators must be quiet generators, any vendors with generators that we deem to loud and cause disruption for other vendors and/or the market will be asked to not use them again.

Limited power access may be available at the Greensburg Vintage Market held at St. Clair Park and any indoor markets held at Live Casino. Those spaces are first come first serve.

As a vendor selling items, you should have the proper permitting, certificates and liability insurance.

All vendors selling any prepared foods or baked items must have the proper license to sell said items.

All ready to eat food vendors (anyone selling food to eat at market like food trucks/trailers/tents) are required to submit their health license, ServeSafe, business liability insurance and drivers license before the start of the season. All of these items will be submitted to the City of Greensburg per their requirements.

All alcohol producing vendors will be required to send in a COI for the Downtown Greensburg Project and the City of Greensburg with liquor liability included.

Please contact a licensed professional to confirm what you need for your specific business. If you need assistance please email us.

Are direct sales businesses allowed?

No, we do not allow direct sales or mlm businesses to be a vendor at any Greensburg Night Market or other events we host. No exceptions will be made. If you pay the application fee and apply with a direct sales business, you will not be refunded.

I’m a local non profit, can I be a vendor at the Greensburg Night Market?

The Greensburg Night Market, Vintage Market and the Greensburg Holiday/Winter Markets have available spaces for non-profit organizations. Please apply using the non profit application. All non profit spaces are free and proof of non profit status may be asked to be submitted.

What is the set up and tear down process like as a vendor?

The set up at the Greensburg Night Market can be hectic and is a quick set up. Depending on which block or area you are in will determine how much time you have to set up. If you are a vendor who needs extra time to set up, we do suggest selecting the Block 2 Lot as a Block Preference on the application.

The road is still open to through traffic during set up and we do work with the County Courthouse and their employees leaving for the day.

All vendors are in charge of their own set up. You are to bring everything you need to sell including but not limited to a tent (tent weights are required), table, table cloth, product displays etc. We do not provide or give out tents, tables or any other items for vendors to use at the outdoor Greensburg Night Market or Greensburg Vintage Market.

The process to set up is as follows:
  • Pull into your designated block and find a staff member to help you find your space.
  • Pull into a parking space and off the road completely before unloading.
  • Unload all items quickly and put them on the sidewalk against the buildings.
  • Move your vehicle outside of the market area to park.
  • Come back to set up at your designated set up time.

Road closes at 5pm sharp unless all vendors are in for your block, in that case GNM Staff will determine if it can close earlier.

The process to tear down is as follows:
  • Pack up all of your items.
  • Wait until GNM staff opens the road. This time can change every market and each block/area opens at different times based on any attendees still on the street. No vendor or anyone with a vendor is permitted to remove any street closure barriers. This is a strict policy. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in your vendor space being revoked for the rest of the season without a refund.
  • No cars are permitted in the market area at all until a GNM Staff member gives the okay.
  • Pull in your car and off of the road as much as possible.
  • Load in all of your items quickly.
  • Leave slowly and don’t speed through the market area.

If you are unable to abide by these set up and tear down guidelines in anyway, we are not the market for you.

Indoor markets and Greensburg Vintage Markets have different set up policies that will be sent when accepted.

How many vendors are accepted for each market?

Depending on the date and spacing the Greensburg Night Market could accept up to 140 vendors per date.

Other events including the Greensburg Vintage Market and the Greensburg Holiday/Winter Markets have 45-80 vendors accepted depending on the location and spacing.

Will I be able to leave my car in my vendor space?

No. No cars are to be left in the vendor area, space is very tight. If your products require refrigeration or something similar. Please email us before applying so we can see if we can accommodate you.

I can't attend anymore, can I get a refund?

Contact us immediately. Please see your vendor agreement you signed when you were approved for our cancellation policy.

Unfortunately, we do not refund for cancellations if a vendor has to cancel. Vendors can transfer their space to another market in the same season if there is available space for that type of vendor. Vendors cannot transfer to another season.

The Greensburg Night Market is rain or shine, unless there is extreme weather the market will not be canceled. There are no refunds for weather cancelation.

Application Fee

The Greensburg Night Market has implemented a vendor application and processing fee of $20 per vendor ($10 for vintage only vendors) for 2025. This fee is non refundable and does not guarantee a space for any date for the Greensburg Night Market.
