Pittsburgh Zoo Jack O’Lantern Extravaganza Markets
We have recently partnered with the Pittsburgh Zoo to help host and book a small market during their Jack O’Lantern Extravaganza in October!
There are 4 Friday dates from 6-10pm (times subject to adjustment by the Zoo) that we will be hosting 15 local vendors. We are being very specific about the vendors we are looking for, but we would also like to see some spooky or Halloween-based products, given that the market is during their Jack O’Lantern event.
All spaces are located when you first come up the escalator at the zoo in their village area and are 10×10. Since the spaces are located where attendees first enter the zoo and where they exit, visitors should pass by all the vendors upon arrival and departure. They estimate about 2000-3000 attendees per Friday during the event based on past experience.
Load in and load out is pretty easy, there’s a gate right by the market location, allowing you to pull your car in to unload and load up.
Each date is $200 and includes the Zoo’s marketing, marketing materials for your use with the Zoo branding, any Zoo tableing fees as well as our social marketing and our set up and tear down rules, guidelines and assistance.
The Zoo will be providing all of the marketing materials and we are working with their marketing team to supply anything they may need from us and to make sure it meets their expectations. We may have restrictions on what you can and cannot use to post on social. As we get closer we will have more marketing guidelines for you.
The Pittsburgh Zoo logo and likeness cannot be used in any products being sold.

We will NOT BE ACCEPTING the following:
Crochet Animals, Jewelry, Alcohol, Ready to Eat, Anything food related that isn’t packaged to take home. Vendors types not accepted is subject to change without notice.

All vendor fees will be due the week before your scheduled market and all of our usual vendor guidelines regarding space movement, cancellations, refunds (no refunds for vendor cancellation or weather related cancellations) and set up and tear down will apply to this event as well.
