APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED FOR THE 2023 SEASON

The Greensburg Night Market is excited to accept vendor applications for the 2023 season which runs April 2023 to December 2023! GNM began in 2019 with just a half a block in downtown Greensburg and 28 vendors. It has expanded and for its fifth year, the Greensburg Night Market will host 115 vendors along 4 blocks at each market. 

Vendor applications are only accepted via the form below. No vendor applications will be accepted by email, text, mail, phone or in person. 

All communication related to the Greensburg Night Market with accepted vendors during the season will be done through email.

Application Process and Timeline

• Applications Open – January 1, 2023 at 9am
• Applications Close – February 28, 2023 at 11:59pm
• Vendor Acceptance or Waitlist Notification – By March 5, 2023
• Vendor Agreement Due – March 15, 2023
• Vendor Fees Due – April 15, 2023
• Vendor Specific Permits and Insurance Proof Due – Before vendor’s first scheduled market.

For 2023 the Greensburg Night Market will have 7 regular dates, 2 Holiday Night Market dates and 2 Holiday Market (afternoon) dates.

Location

The Greensburg Night Market is hosting along 4 blocks of South Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown Greensburg. The street is closed to through traffic during the market. 

Types of Vendors Permitted

At the Greensburg Night Market we strive to bring a variety of unique vendors, the following are types of vendors we are looking to host for 2023. 

• Artists (painters, photography etc)
• Alcohol Producer
• Apparel
• Baked Goods
• Beauty Products and Soap
• Beverages (non alcoholic)
• Candles
• Crafters
• Farmer (Veggies, Flowers, Fruits, Meat, Eggs etc)
• Jewelry
• Paper Art (illustrations, stickers, cards etc)
• Pet Products
• Prepared Food (jarred items, canned, pre-packaged)
• Ready To Eat (Food Trucks and Food Tents)
• Wooden Items

Vendors are required to make, create or produce 75% of their products. We may ask for your process for proof. 

Applying for the Greensburg Night Market does not guarantee a space at any Greensburg Night Market.

Types of Vendors Not Permitted

While the Greensburg Night Market accepts a wide range of vendors each season there are a few that we unfortunately do not permit. We do not accept MLMs, direct sales vendors, businesses that white labels their products, gets manufactured goods, nor do we accept items that were designed by you but made in a lab or by a third-party. If you are not sure if you qualify, please email us before applying. 

We also do not accept businesses that do not sell items, including but not limited to: insurance, windows, financial services, photography (not selling prints), realtors. If you are not sure if your business would quality, please email us before applying. Interested businesses in those areas can look into our sponsorship opportunities.

We do not accept political or religious organizations or businesses to be vendors (information tents/selling items) or sponsors. 

Vendor Space Types

As the Greensburg Night Market has grown, we have added a variety of vendors. To meet vendor and attendee needs we have different Vendor Space Types available for 2023.

*due to the nature of the location of the Greensburg Night Market as well as set up, traffic and the fact the market is on a 1 way street, we are unable to give every accepted vendor an assigned spot in their designated block. For 2023, there will be a limited amount of assigned spaces, all other spaces will be unassigned in a vendors designated block.

Regular Vendor Space – This vendor space is 10×10 and is located on 1 of the blocks in the market. All vendors will receive a block assignment but will not be assigned a specific vendor space on that block with the Regular Vendor Space type. $40 per regular season market. Holiday Night Market Vendor Spaces $60. Holiday Market (afternoon $50) 

Assigned Vendor Space – This vendor space is 10×10 and is located on 1 of the blocks in the market. All vendors will receive a block assignment and will receive a specific spot to set up. Vendors who choose this space type will get the same vendor space every market they are accepted. There is a limited number of Assigned Vendor Spaces at each market. $50 per regular season market. Holiday Night Market Vendor Spaces $70. 

Double Vendor Space – This vendor space is 10×20 and is located on 1 of the blocks in the market. All vendors will receive a block assignment and will receive a specific spot to set up. Vendors who choose this space type will get the same vendor space every market they are accepted. There is a limited number of Double Vendor Spaces at each market. $80 per regular season market. Holiday Night Market Vendor Spaces $90. 

Food Truck Space – All food trucks will receive be located on Block 3 in the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library Parking Lot. There is no exception to this location unless the event director makes that decision. There is a limited number of Food Truck Spaces at each market. (Food Tents, please choose one of the other vendor types) $50 per regular season market. Holiday Night Market Vendor Spaces $65. 

Trailer Space – All vendors will receive a block assignment and will receive a specific spot to set up. Vendors who choose this space type will get the same vendor space every market they are accepted. There is a limited number of Trailer Spaces at each market. $50 per regular season market. Holiday Night Market Vendor Spaces $65.

Insurance and Permit Requirements

All vendors must provide proof of liability insurance in order to participate in the Greensburg Night Market. Vendors are not required to have insurance at the time of application but must show proof of insurance before the first market a vendor is scheduled for.

Food Vendors must have the proper permits and are required to be with you at each market. Foods must be prepared in a Health Department licensed kitchen and all rules and regulations required must be followed.

Vendor Set Up

Accepted Vendors will receive a set up email the Monday before each market. All vendors are responsible for their own set up, which includes but is not limited to, tents, tent weights, tables, chairs, displays, products, garbage and signage.

Set up goes as follows: pull into assigned block, talk to a staff member for a space, pull your vehicle off of the road into parking as far as you can, quickly unload, move you vehicle out of the market are to park, come back to set up.

No vehicles are permitted in the market area during the duration of the market. All vehicles must be out of the market area by 5pm.

If your products require refrigeration or something similar. Please email us before applying so we can see if we can accommodate you.

Set up for the Greensburg Night Market is fast and requires vendors to move very quickly for unloading. If you believe you are unable to unload and set up in a timely manner, please do not apply.

Vendor Selection

Vendor acceptance is determined by the Greensburg Night Market director and staff and are selected based on the following:

• Vendor Type (we do not permit a large number of the same vendor type per market)
• Products and Product Quality
• Vendor Social Media (It is very important to GNM that our vendors have a great social media presence. We ask that all vendors post on social that they will be at the market. This is an important part of the selection process.)
• Vendor Branding
• Vendor Availability

Vendor Waitlist

Vendors not accepted will be placed on our waitlist. It a space opens at a market, we will email vendors from our waitlist to fill them.

Vendor Acceptance Notification

All accepted vendors will receive an email by March 5 with any dates they are accepted for. In that email will be a Vendor Terms and Conditions packet that must be signed and returned to us by March 15. Failure to confirm acceptance, reply to the email and not return the packet will forfeit the vendor dates assigned.

Once we receive a vendors confirmation, vendors will be send a Vendor Fee Invoice. 

Vendor Fees

All vendor fees for the 2023 season will be due no later than April 15, 2023. All vendors will receive a Vendor Fee Invoice that can be paid via credit/debit card or by mailing a check.

Vendors who pay after the due date will be charged a $30 late fee. Any vendors who have not paid their vendor invoices by the first market of the season will forfeit their vendor spaces.

Market Cancellations 

The Greensburg Night Market is rain or shine, unless there is extreme weather the market will not be canceled. There are no refunds for weather cancelation.

Unfortunately, we do not refund for cancellations if a vendor has to cancel. Vendors can transfer their space to another market in the same season if there is available space for that type of vendor. Vendors cannot transfer to another season.

Market Attendance

We have seen great growth of the Greensburg Night Market and averaged 5000 attendees per market in 2022. We are expecting that number to increase in 2023.

It is important to GNM that all vendors are prepared for a crowd of that size. If you believe you are unable to accommodate or work in a very fast paced crowd, please do not apply.

Application Fee

The Greensburg Night Market has implemented a vendor application and processing fee of $15 per vendor for 2023. This fee is non refundable and does not guarantee a space for any date for the Greensburg Night Market.

After applying you will receive a confirmation email. Please check your spam and junk mail. If you have not received a confirmation email after 30 minutes, please email us to make sure we have received your application.
